Homemade Mac and Cheese

I love this recipe. I made it for the first time a few weeks ago for my boyfriend, and I couldn't believe how easy it was and delicious! It was so good, I've been craving it and had to make it again. I did find the sauce the first time a bit runny, but I'm not sure if I made the sauce right. This time I made it with 2 1/4 cups of milk and it was nice and thick. Either way, I love this recipe and will make it again and again!

GA Peach Pound Cake

This cake was amazing. I followed the recipe exactly and it was delicious. It was easy to make, not too sweet but sweet enough, just overall yum!! Only thing I'm going to change next time is instead of baking it in one big loaf pan, I'm going to bake it in 2 smaller ones, that's it. I will definitely be making this cake again.

French Pastry Pie Crust

This is my new pie crust, I just loved it! It was easy to put together, easy to roll and made 3 crusts (I only did bottom crusts, so I was able to make 3 pies). It turned out flakey and thick, not mushy at all. It does shrink a little on the sides during baking. I did pre bake it for about 10 minutes first, and I did use the other suggestion of cold shortening and ice cold water and only 1tsp of salt. Thank you for this pie crust, I will definitely use again!!

Chocolate Chip Cookies I

They're not as pretty looking as some other cookies I've made (they look all cracked), but they're pretty good. I add 1/2tsp of corn starch which keeps the cookies soft in the center and crunchie outside. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. I'll make it again (works well if you don't have any butter on hand).

Chocolate Toffee Crunchies

I loved it!! So did my mom. I didn't have any vanilla wafers so I used chocolate and it worked out beautifully. I did follow the other review of lining the bottom with parchment paper so the sides are covered, I greased the pan and the parchment paper so all I had to do was remove the paper and pull it away (which I had no problems doing). I also cut the bars, not fully, before the chocolate harden so cutting them was easy. Only problem, I couldn't wait till the chocolate harden to try one. Happy with the results though. I will definitely make again.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

WOW, the best oatmeal raisin cookies I've ever had. I'm not used to making so many cookies with one batch, but my friends at school were thrilled. The crunchy outside but soft inside stayed that way even after they cooled. I've been craving them ever sense.

Creme Brulee French Toast

I loved it, but my family thought it was a bit too sweet (creme brulee is suppose to be sweet). I will add a little less brown sugar this time around, but I loved it.

Butterscotch Oatmeal

I never had homemade oatmeal before (I always stuck with instant), but this was pretty good. I'm on a diet, so I made it with SugarTwin brown sugar, 1% milk and light margarine and it turned out well. I reduced the sugar like everyone suggested, and I meant to only put in 1/4 cup, but I only had a little sugar left in the box so I dumped it in (and it turned out a bit too sweet). I will definitely make this again.

Blueberry Sauce

I word, WOW! I made this for my mother for mother's day, and she loved it!! She wanted a bit sweeter, but she didn't complain. I took the advice of everyone and made it 2 days prior to Mother's Day. My mother gobbled it all up, so I had to make a second batch for dessert tonight. Thanks for this amazing recipe!!!

Crab Bites

I really liked these. I followed everyone else and only used 1 package of cream cheese, but I did use a can of of shredded crab. I made them with phyllo pastries (so the sheets of the annoying dough). I cut the phyllo into squares, brush it lightly with melted butter, put a small amount in the middle, fold the four corners (almost as if you were making a pyramid) and squeeze just above the filling(the filling might break out the bottom, so try not to squeeze too close to the filling). I hope that isn't too confusing, I suggest playing with phyllo dough to find out what works for you, but make sure the dough you're not working on is covered with a damp cloth to prevent it from drying out (which happens very quickly).

Cindy's Pumpkin Pie

WOW, I made this for Thanksgiving (Canadian). Only my mother and I are pumpkin pie fans, but luckily this made 2 pies because everyone was gobbling it up. I even had to give the recipe to a few people. Thanks for the keeper!!

Creamiest Rice Pudding

I made this for my mom because rice pudding is her favourite, and she LOVED it. I'm not a big fan of rice pudding, but even I liked it. I cut down the recipe since it was only two of us, and I almost regret doing that. I left the vanilla amount the same which gave it a nice taste. I don't think my mom will allow me to give up this recipe. I will definitly make it again.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Wow these were delicious! Very cream cheesy and a tad zingy (spicey), but if you like that then you'll love these. It's easy to make, and I got about 30 mushrooms out of it (20 small, bite size, and 9 bigger ones). I will definitly be making this recipe again. Thanks Angie!

Easy Pasta Chicken

I LOVED this recipe. I followed the recipe, added a little more veggies and cut the chicken up into small pieces and I really enjoyed it. Quick, simple, and I can't wait to have this again. (It kinda tastes like the Skilet Senstation Chicken in Mushroom sauce in the frozen foods)

Banana Loaf Cake I

I thought this recipe was great. My mom and I bought a bunch of cheap banana at the store that were starting to become overripe, and descided to make a banana loaf. I have one but we descided to try a new one. I took the advice in some other posts, and I doubled the butter and double the egg. We also descided to double the recipe (ontop of the two doubled ingredients so now instead of 2 eggs it's 4) so we can make a big loaf and a small one and freeze one. It doubled perfectly (some recipes can't be doubled), and I don't think we're gonna have a chance to freeze one because one loaf is almost gone and it was made yesterday. Great recipe!!

Sugar Free Rugelach

My father loves sweets but he was diagnosed diabetic this year, which has been hard on him. Being Christmas and all, I searched for a cookie that he can eat, and I found this one. He really liked it. He said it wasn't very sweet but after a moment or two eatting it, he can taste the natural sugars. I'll make these again for him. It was fairly easy too.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

I must say..WOW!! Mine are baking right now, but I've got into the cookie dough and it's YUMMY!! (8 minutes later)OK it took longer than 8 minutes to bake, but it was worth the wait. YUMMINESS. I used light peanut butter instead, and the other suggestions about the sugar and vanilla. Also I added chocolate chips. The light peanut butter took off the edge of peanutty flavour, which I find can get strong sometimes. But I will defently be making this again (espically since it doesn't take much to make).
