About this Cook
Since I was a little girl, I've loved to bake and cook. I have always wanted to be a pastry chef. The more I think about it, the more I'd like to go back to school and pursue that dream.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts, chicken, anything that I can put together in a hurry.
My cooking triumphs
I finally made an apple pie. Never have made one, my only mistake was not putting a drip pan under the pie. I also forgot to leave out the the crust to come to room temp, so I had to re-roll out the top crust. The pie was bigger than the pan I put it in, but this pie was YUMMY!

Chocolate Oil Cake
The only thing I did was cut this recipe in half to use it as cupcakes. I made homemade frosting for them and took them to a birthday party. They were LOVED by all. I was hoping to have a couple to take back home, but there weren't even crumbs left. This was YUMMY! Next time I will try it with the applesauce that I have seen recommended. But I didn't change anything in it.

Apple Kuchen
My mom has a recipe similar to this one, but we use peaches. Our recipe calls for baking the crust for 10 minutes BEFORE you add the fruit to it. To those that say the sour cream topping isn't enough... it isn't supposed to cover the whole thing. Its not frosting! With our recipe calling for canned or fresh peaches, if you get canned peaches in heavy syrup, it won't need sugar.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II
I thought this recipe was good, but the chicken ended up being a lil drier than I would have liked, so maybe a lil less time in the cooker or more liquid to cover it. Overall I thought the flavor was pretty tasty.
