Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup
YUM!!! Man of man this is good. I am pretty picky too. Used reduced sodium chicken broth, Uncle Ben's boxed rice (was a little chewy, next time I will let it simmer a bit before I take it off the heat), addred carrots, celery, and more onions. I accidently put the seasoning packet in with the rice and not the roux. Turned out great though. Will make again and again....Thank you so much for this recipe!!

Ham and Bean Soup
I was very sad because this didn't come out as I had hoped. Not sure if I let beans soak to long to degas causing them to soak up more water- and not compensating by adding less water in the soup. Forgot the celery but over all the soup tasted bad. I had to add lots of beef boullion and seasonings to make it edible. It makes a ton. We don't waste food so we are still eating it now. Sweet cornbread helped.
