About this Cook
I just love to cook. It's the best when someone compliments you on a dish you worked so hard on!
My favorite things to cook
Bread
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving is my families favorite cooking tradition. We all try to out do the year before. It's great to watch the parade and cook with your family.
My cooking triumphs
Peanut Butter Fudge from this website. I made it last night 12/6/08 and it was perfect, and perfectly easy.
My cooking tragedies
My attempt at chocolate fudge. It ended up being used as a chocolate ice cream syrup.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge
I've only tried fudge a few times, and my worst effort turned into a great ice cream syrup. Anyhow, I was at first scared of this recipe because some said it was lumpy or wouldn't set I used the suggested changes, and it was perfect! I used my hand mixer for the final smooth product. I let it cool for 4 hours and lifted it from the pan with the plastic wrap I poured it on. Then cut it and let it finish setting. IT IS DELICIOUS! No doubt about it.

Restaurant-Style Chicken Scampi
This was wonderful! It was very close to the restaurant style. I have to admit however, that I did add more water because the sauce was a little thick. Thanks for a great recipe.
