Empanadas

The smell is better than any candle you will ever buy! I made cream cheese pumpkin empanadas. My tortilla press broke but found that parchment paper worked great with a cool dough and I used my kids Play-Dough cutter for a pretty scalloped edge.....delicious! *BIG TIP: snip an "X" shape in the top of your empanada with scissors right before you pop it into the oven to keep the filling from splatting out of the seams.

Spooky Witches Fingers

(In best Russian villian accent) Fun only for making small children scream like "leetle girlz!" Bwa-ha-ha! I really enjoyed making these with my kids and watching our friends reactions. I paired it up with "Sugar Cookie Icing" and used red gel with a touch of brown gel coloring from Wilton to get that shiny, goopy mess of a blood color. Thanks Sandra!

Hoagie Bake

You had me at "crescent roll." Super, super easy, fast because I used pre sliced meats, easy to prep and makes alot. I liked it with the creamy italian dressing also. My kids are huge fans of crescent bread too so they ATE IT UP!

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Loved the garlic-mayo! I used swiss cheese and was still awesome. I toasted the hoagie buns under the broiler first, then slopped the rest on, back under the broiler for a final melt....worth the extra 4 minutes.

Easy Bake Fish

This was easy and I love honey mustard. Just so-so for me and will save my fish for other favorite recipes. I added bread crumbs so perhaps it was the way I prepared this recipe.

Spicy Polynesian Wrap

We ate this up! This recipe changes up boring, old chicken and we could taste the cocnut and lime, shich we loved. I will try a sauce next time and add something more spicy, maybe pepper flakes or jalepeno seasoning.

Pork Fried Rice

My husband liked this better than our local chinese buffet and my kids ate it up! All the ingredients in this one are perfect, however I cooked it the way I wanted and it turned out delicious. I added lots of regular ground pepper. No leftovers.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

I am giving this 5 stars for taste and for being a moist cake. I think 2 sticks of butter was too much so I used 1 stick. My batter was thick. I will add a touch of water or milk next time to replace for the lost butter. Overall, I am going to keep this recipe.

Grandpa's Popcorn Balls

AWESOME! This reminds me of eating crunch n munch butter toffee flavored popcorn. I used 1 bag of butter microwave popcorn and achieved the perfect balance of sweet and salty and butter taste. I ate more than my kids!
