I like creating, so, I approach most things with my artistic attributes, even when it comes to cooking. I try to work on "presentation." I am inspired by whimsical and playful ideas which includes baking fun treats for my family, like a Candyland themed cake. I also enjoy making brownies, cupcakes, and decorating cakes. Picnics under the big tree on a lazy fall day and campfire nights in our yard. I recreated at home a favorite dish from a local mexican restaurant. My sweet husband and dear friend complimented on how fabulous it was, if not better. I make the darnest, thickest chicken n' dumplings you will ever find around these parts. I am terrible, just terrible! at cooking oriental food! (Well I was! Allrecipes has definitely changed that!)
