This was so good. I followed the directions, YUM! My husband had three pieces, and he's not a huge corn bread fan. Thanks.

Festive Crab Cakes

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
This gets a five star, because I'm going to make it again. It just seems like it's missing something. I used raspberry jelly instead of cranberry, I don't think that made a big difference. Thanks, it's a nice simple, quick recipe.

Sweetened Condensed Milk

I'm giving it five stars, because it diffently got me out of a jam, with running back to the store. I used it in Banana Pudding IV from this site. I got about 10oz. out of it. I used it all in the recipe. Thanks.

Strawberry Romaine Salad I

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
I loved this. I followed the directions, but used half light mayo and half regular,[I don't think it made any difference] but I think next time I'll try all light mayo. I loved this as is, but I could see if someone wanted to cut down on the sugar and poppy seeds:)

Herb Grilled Vegetables

Reviewed: May 12, 2009
This was very good. I have a fry pan with holes in it for the grill.[Otherwise I lose them] The flavor of the veggies really come out. I used beef broth, it's what I had on hand. The broth kept the veggies moist, not all dried out. I just lightly sprinkled with salt when they were done. Will make again.

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
This is great. I used 'Smart Balance' popcorn and butter. So that cut a little of the salt and fat, but I did sprinkle with a little salt when done. Added about a cup of peanuts and left over x-mas M&M's. I'll be making this again.

Australian Deep Fried Chicken Wings

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
My family and I thought these were very good. I didn't get to marinate them as long as called for, just a couple of hours. I added a touch of corn meal instead of flor, but caught myself and used the corn flour [I was just eye balling it]. I added a few spices to the flour, salt, paprika [hot] garlic powder. Will make again.

Egg Foo Yung II

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
I just have to say "Thank You!" This was wounderful. I didn't have celery,so I used a little more bean sprouts then called for, used all chicken, had a pack of sliced mushrooms, used half chopped in veggie mixture, other half in gravy, stir fried the veggies a little bit [let cool] to incorporate the flavors some.] Beat the eggs seperatly from the veggies, but not over beated. For the gravy I used 1 1/2 cups of beef broth instead of water, I didn't boil it first, and a splash of sherry from another site. My husband looked at me and said, "this is really good!" Yea!

Blackberry Cherry Cobbler

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
I liked this. I doubled the recipe, I kept one can of cherry pie filling, used 4 cups frozen blackberrys [thawed] a container of fresh blueberries and raspberries each. I did use about a tsp. of sugar for the fresh fruit. But I think I will have to thicken it a little with cornstarch next time while it's heating in the pan, a little runny. It's a good recipe. Thanks.

Fabulous Roasted Cauliflower Soup

I'm glad I tried this,it is a good soup. I made it pretty much as written, except I used 4 cups [32oz] chicken broth instead of 1 cup of water. I also used 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of fat free half and half.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
Excellent. I used 3 pounds of beef. [wanted sandwiches]So I doubled the ingriedents, except for the eggs, kept those at two. Used one loaf pan: so I had to up my cooking time 2 hrs. at 350*. I covered my meatloaf with foil the first hour, I didn't want it to burn. Used a fat seperator and thickened the sauce up a little, that was good, a little sweet for gravy but good. Will make again
