Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
These are sooo good. Very easy to make. The texture is crumbly, but it does hold together well. I let mine chill for about an hour before I started dunking. I might have to make some more before Easter, my bag there in keeps shrinking. Hum! courious?

Peppermint Patties

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
These are really good. And it makes alot.I used the whole can of milk, put a little more extract [1\2 tsp?] and about a cup or so more sugar. I was doing heaping TBSP's. after awhile to get the right texture. I made mine small, dime size, then flattened. I just let them air dry. By the time I was done making and flattening, and melting chocolate, I started at the beggining of my mints to start dunking, I just dropped one in [so the bottom had chocolate] picked up with a fork, used a spoon to pour choco. on top of mint, then tapped the side of my pan to tap off extra chocolate, dried on parchment paper. Excellent. Will make again.

Chewy Caramel

These are great. They really weren't to hard to make. I used some for my chocolate covered marshmallows, and the rest for pieces of candy. Thanks for a great recipe.

Emily's Famous Marshmallows

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
This is a great recipe. But you should have a Kitchen Aid mixer, I don't, the fluff climbed up my beaters.I made the marshmallows, then the chewy caramel from this site. I layered some caramel over the marshmallow, sprinkled some nuts on, then dipped in almond bark. YUM!

Easy Skillet Chicken a la King

My mom used to make this. I've just kind of forgotten about it untill AR. I didn't put mushrooms in it [didn't have it] or the peppers. I chopped a small onion in it, and used one chicken boullion. I had to have peas. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.

Grilled Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
These were great. I skewered them as one reveiwer suggested. At the end I just put a little lemon on it, just to freshen it up. I will be making these again, but I'm going to invest in a grilling basket.

Pat's Mushroom Saute

It's easy to play around with different ingredients for this recipe. This is good plain; with just salt, pepper and butter. This is the best with a grilled T-Bone. So good.

I had to put the broiler on to get them to brown a little bit. Good flavor, had enough filling for wonton wrapers.

Hong Kong Style Egg Tarts

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
These turned out very good. I just used a muffin pan. I did have a little more egg mixture left over. But not that much. I cooked on the high heat as stated, then turned my oven off to let the custard set for about 10 or 15 min. I've never had egg tarts before so I thought the whole thing turned out very nicely. You diffently can taste egg.
