Microwave Caramel Popcorn
I'm normally a chewy caramel popcorn kind of girl, but when a pregnancy craving hits, you don't ask questions! This was a really simple, yummy recipe. Here's what I did: used 2 bags of microwave popcorn and pulled out any kernals. Made caramel mixture, using unsalted butter and omitting the salt in the recipe. Microwaved for 3 minutes, stirred and added baking soda, micro'd for 1 more minute. Poured over popcorn (a helper would have been nice!), and cooked for 1 minute each side. I didn't have wax paper so I just used a baking sheet mat. This will be a go-to snack in our house! I wonder if I didn't cook for that last minute, it would be that soft chewy texture I love? I'll try that next time...

Brownie Crackles
These were so simple to make! I followed the recipe exactly except with slightly less chocolate chips since I didn't have a full cup on hand. Perfect rolling consistancy. I followed someone's advice and used a cookie dough scoop to place them into the sugar, then rolled. Loved it and my kids were very impressed!
