About this Cook
I grew up in a family of 6 and have always loved my mom's home cooking!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook whatever people wanna eat that day :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom has this recipe for homemade macaroni and cheese and I think that's been a family favorite forever! My sister went to Germany and made it for some people there and they asked for the recipe and make it now!

Scalloped Potatoes
this was great, my boyfriend really liked it. i was trying to use up the rest of my coconut milk so i used that instead of regular milk and also cut the butter by half as suggested by other reviewers and used half cheddar cheese and half gouda. I used white wine instead of sherry (i didn't have sherry and it was suggested by some to substitute wine). i also put some extra mixed cheese on top before the cornflake crumbs (my boyfriend really like the baked cheese thing ;-) ) and it was great! pic

Barlow's Blackened Catfish
wow! my boyfriend said this was the best he's ever had!! i've never made catfish (or had it for that matter...) so i didn't know what to expect but it was awesome. it had a really nice subtle (for my taste) spicey kick to it. it was a bit hard for me to spread the called for amount of spices over my fish though, but i got the job done ;-) thanks for this great recipe! pic

Whole Wheat Pasta
this was my first time making homemade pasta and i don't have a pasta machine or a mixer so it was all me baby!! and it wasn't really thaaaat hard. the worst was how long it took to unroll the noodles after i cut them (i rolled the dough and sliced to desired width). i had to add a bit of water to get the dough to stick together in the beginning. i halved the recipe and it was perfect for 2. my boyfriend even loved the noodles, and he was really skeptical.. :P thanks!!!
