It was a good basic recipe. I made this awhile ago and I still remember the lemon really being overpowering. I think the next time I make it that it would be better if I just squeezed some lemon on instead of baking it on the ribs.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Love this recipe. My 1 (almost 2) year old loves these cookies. I use vegan butter for allergy reasons and they turned out amazing! I used a mini heart shape cutter to make mini cookies and my toddler and family loves them!

Rhubarb Bread I

It was a really really moist bread! I think it would be great without the brown sugar topping. I made it dairy free because of my daughter's allergies. I subbed milk for soy milk and used shortening for the topping instead of butter. It was really good. It was my first time using rhubarb and I was thankful it turned out great! I used 2 cups of rhubarb though instead of the 1. I'm glad I did too because it seemed to be the right amount.

Figs and Toasted Almonds Brie

It was a good recipe but I couldn't find cheese rounds at Trader Joe's only wedges and used that instead. My fig mixture was so hot that it melted the brie too much which was still really yummy.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

It was a good recipe, but I used whole wheat bread pulsed in a coffee grinder for bread crumbs vs. italian seasoning bread crumbs. My daughter is allergic to dairy so I had to make the substitution and it turned out great. Thanks for a good basic recipe.

Egg-Yolk Sponge Cake

It had the most awful smell ever. I don't know what I did wrong, but I followed the recipe, it was spongey, but it smelled like a dirty sock and tasted even worse.

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

I used the sauce and my fiance loves it! If you don't mix the flour with water first before adding it will create lumps so make sure you do that before putting it in the pot with the rest of the ingredients.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Awesome. Soooo good! I halved the recipe and poured it in an 8x8 glass pan and it came out perfectly moist. It was sooo chewy and fudgy! I sprayed my pan with regular Pam and it was easy to take out. Not at first because I couldn't wait for them to cool so I chowed one down hot!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I had to try this recipe. Cmon with 2100+ reviews there has to be something to it! I think its funny how when people review the recipe they mess it up but then add the part where they've been cooking/baking for x amount of years. I tried this blueberry muffin recipe and when I was done with my batter, I realized that it was stiff. So common sense would tell you to add more liquid. I think this recipe is great. However my family prefers no topping just muffin so I ixnayed the topping altogether. I did two batches, the first one with a little bit of extra liquid. I have to substitute dairy for soymilk (daughter's allergies). Then the second one I did as other reviewers recommended and added 1/2 cup of oil and 1/2 cup of milk (again soy) and a tsp of vanilla. This is what I found. I enjoyed both recipes. The original recipe was better with an addition of liquid. The reason I enjoyed it was because the tops crisped really nice. If you're looking for fluffy the alterations of 1/2 cup of oil and 1/2 cup of milk is for you. The second batch was good, but it was missing the crunchiness that the original recipe had which I totally enjoyed. Hope this helps and thanks for the recipe!
