Naan

After several failed attempts at naan, I was really excited about this recipe. I was really good, but I think next time I'll use just a little less sugar. I used a cast iron skillet and started by preheating it in the oven at 500 degrees, but the bread turned black before it was cooked through. They came out much better when the skillet was at a medium heat with just a little bit of oil on it. After a while, I started brushing butter onto the dough before putting it on the grill, and I think this was better.

Angel Food Cake III

Very good! The only problem was removing it from the tube pan. I had to cut it into pieces inside the pan, even though the pan I used was allegely nonstick.

Lemon Blueberry Bread

This is definitely more of a cake than a bread, especially with the glaze. I took a loaf to my office and it was gone in under two hours. I could definitely taste the butter, which I couldn't decide if I liked, but it brought back childhood memories of the buttered blueberry muffins my mother used to make. Also, I could only find canned blueberries, and they worked just fine (just make sure to drain the juice and rinse the blueberries).

Fantastic. I had to make much more pasta dough than the recipe called for, which probably means my pasta was too thick. It was still great, though.

Pumpkin Bread

This bread is amazing. I made at least a dozen loaves over the holidays, and none survived more than a few hours. It was delicious.
