Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Great, best sauce I have ever tasted. Used it on spareribs yesterday I will never buy the bottled stuff again. Cinnamon, who would have thought? I just happened to have all the ingredients on hand and no bbq sauce, so I tried this. Fantastic

Golden Pork Chops

Great, I cooked it on top of the stove because it was to hot to use the oven. I also browned the pork chops first. Everyone loved it. I have made it twice and the results are great. I guess you could use the crockpot on low if you have to be gome most of the day.

Peach Upside Down Cake I

My nieghbor gave me five large peaches and I had to do something with them as they were getting overripe. I sliced my peaches and since they were large, I increased the recipe by 1/2 and used 9x13. I used 2 eggs. I did not increase the peaches. I also added cinnamon and allspice. It was real good hot. A keeper. A delightful change from pineapple.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

This was great. A keeper. To hot to do much cooking so I am using the slow cooker at lot. I added mushrooms, I did not find it too salty. everyone loved it.

Wonderful Banana Cake

Great recipe, I had two bananas I had to do something with. I added 1/2 cup applesauce and 2tsp cinnamon like someone else suggested and did the cream cheese frosting. I baked at 350 for 45 min. It was GREAT,a keeper.

Cheesy Ramen Noodles

These were great. I was looking for something to eat last night and I saw the noodles in the pantry. I used a little over half of the seasoning pack and a little cajun seasoning. This would make a great side dish. I ate it with a piece of fried chicken I had left over.

Quick and Easy Brownies

WOW, I never made brownies from scratch before. These are GREAT I will never use a box again. I cut the flour to a little over one cup about 1 1/8 and used 3/4 cup of cocoa. I put a butter cream icing on them. I did not use any nuts because I did not have any on hand. They are sooo easy to make I will be making them again.

Thighs on Rice

I had taken chicken thighs out to cook tonight. My husband seen them and asked me to cook the chicken and rice dish that I cooked a few weeks ago. He is not one to request I cook something. He commented that the rice was very good and he liked it better than the ones with cream of something soup. I will be keeping this one.

Best Chicken Ever

When I fixed this I added a little oinon powder and garlic powder. I found it was too dry for my Mom to eat without a sauce, so I took a can of cream of cicken soup added 3/4 can of milk and 1/2 cup of sour cream. It was GREAT. Tasted even better the second day.

I used four eggs because they were a little small. I up the sugar to two cups because we like things sweet. It was soooo good. Mom's 92 she said it was the best she has ever ate.

Pickled Asparagus

Mom wanted some pickled asparagus. I could not find what she wanted at the store, but the asparagus was on sale. Never canned a thing in my life but these turned out GREAT. Mom loved them. My Mom turned 92 this year and if she wants something I try to get it for her. The whole family loved them. Very easy to do.
