Slow Cooker Barbecue Beef

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
Other than adding Sazon to the meat initially, I followed the ingredients in the recipe to a tee. One thing I would change is cooking it for 8 hrs on low, not high. It doesn't need to cook for that long.

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
As some other readers wrote, the stir fry flavor dissapates as the chicken cooks. Next time, I will mix cornstarch in chicken broth before putting it in the pan, and also will add some stir fry flavor mixture while cooking meat.

Mom's Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2009
This was very good. I didn't vary it except that I put a bunch of seasonings on the meat before doing anything else. The meat was not quite as flavorful as I hoped, maybe add some more ketchup or bbq sauce to the meat mixture next time.

Good Burger

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This has been called "the best burger ever" by my fiance and several of his friends after tailgating. Don't skimp on the seasonings, and add some more if you would like! I always start with sazon, a puerto rican garlic-based seasoning.

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
I really enjoyed this recipe. The sauce was very tasty. I agree with other readers that marinating the beef for several hours in the sauce would be good. I added garlic to the pan before adding the veggies. I will also double the sauce next time and keep some seperate to add to the veggies before serving.

The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 7, 2008
This was my first meatloaf attempt, and it was good. I modified the recipe by adding 1 egg and used 2 1/4 lb. beef, omitting the salt but adding Adobo (seasoned salt/garlic powder blend), subbed soft bread crumbs for italian bread crumb mix, mixed steak sauce and ketchup together, added parsley, chopped garlic, oregano and 1 tsp. worchestshire sauce. I put two pieces of bread on the bottom to soak up some of the grease, which worked nicely. Next time I will use ground sirloin as some others had suggested, and use more ketchup in the meat. I will also work more seasonings into the meat before adding anything else. It was good but the meat needed a little more flavor.

Slow-Cooked Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
Excellent recipe! I am new at "slow cooking", and it was pretty easy to make. I seasoned the ground beef in the skillet with Adobo and Sazon (found in the Goya section). I found these two seasonings make any meat taste better. I also added green chiles, cumin, crushed red pepper, and about 20 drops of Frank's Red Hot Sauce to the slow cooker.
