I thought these cookies were fab! They aren't my favorite- my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe is the "Best, Big, Fat, Chewy" one, but these are a nice change. I found they are much better warm, and don't keep very well. I used to Nestle semi-sweet chocolate/white chocolate swirl chips.

Yay! It's important to know that I don't usually like homemade brownies...first of all, brownies aren't my favorite dessert anyway, but I just prefer boxed for some reason. These. Are. The. BEST! Hands down. I didn't have semi-sweet chocolate chips, so I just left them plain. I can see where they would make them taste amazing, though. I added a milk chocolate frosting from the can, and they are fabulous! Would be great under vanilla ice cream!

I'm still giving this 5 stars, even though I had to modify it a little! Instead of cheddar cheese I used monterey jack. I left out the hot sauce. I added garlic powder and seasoning salt. I also halved the recipe. It was fabulous! It was served with parmesan garlic crackers. Went great with our Asian themed dinner!
