I made this twice. The first time I took the other reviewers advice and used 1/2 white & brown sugar. I also added some vanilla (1 tbs.) It was great. I cooked then a touch longe than the recipe called for but they were great. The second time I followed the recipe exactly... they were OK. They seem underdone and the flavor is just OK.
