About this Cook
I'm single and in the Military (for now). Cooking for me is a way to relax and eat things not only that I grew up with, but new things. Unfortunatly I'm bad at spelling, so bear with it and move on smartly.
My favorite things to cook
Primarally I cook and eat itallian and medeterainian foods. The things that get bought almost every time I go to the grocery store are green onions, mushrooms, artichoke hearts (canned), Sage cheese, Feta, beer (Also used in cooking) wine (usually starts use with cooking) and breakfast hot pockets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Nothing beats a good steak. Being from Kansas, and being the son of a cattleman, I grew up with a good thick cut strip or sirloin steak at least once a week. Cooking outside with dad was always a good experiance, and due to his job one for the few times we'd sit and talk, making not only the food, but the event (friday nights) worth while.
My cooking triumphs
Lamb ribs glazed with Shiaz, Mushroom, and green onion sauce, Tuscan Chicken, Kebabes (the french style, not american), Spinich and mushroom Quishe (no idea how that's spelled), Salsa (my texan room mate approved, although it was a little spicer than he thought before hand), calf liver stew.
My cooking tragedies
Fried chicken (mom says I don't use enough heat), hamburger helper (I always seem to over cook the noodles), Toast (funny story behind that one), anything with Scotch in it (not a whole lot of scotch makes it into the mixing bowl).

Genuine Egg Noodles
Although I used the recipe as a rough guideline (I'm one of those cooks that dosen't really measure anything unless baking) it's easy enough for even a novice cook to make an excellent meal. Being single it's easy to slip into eating fast food day after day, but having simple and easy to follow ways to make childhood fravorites saves not only money, but also our health. Thank you for the Recipe (I never had made egg noodles before, despite cooking nearly every day for almost 6 years)
