Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
The best way to get your kids to eat cabbage! The prefect amount of sweetness...my daughter's fav "salad"! We have never made it with poppy seeds and just as good! Also...we hardly ever wait 2 hours....let alone 20 minutes to eat. We toss the slaw with the dressing and it usually goes straight to the table. Just as good as the leftovers the next day. Thanks for the recipe! this is the only one I use now!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
Only altered the garlic powder to a Tbsp. of minced garlic. This was outstanding! Not sure where the other's described it as too sweet? It was flavored perfectly. Since the meat fell apart (so tender!)we just put it on rolls, then used the broth as an au jus dipping sauce. So yummy! This will go as a fav in the house. My 5 year old kept asking me "Can I have more of THAT MEAT mom?"

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2009
So I tried this recipe again since it's one of allrecipes.com "MOST RATED RECIPES". And once again dissappointed. I was looking for something that had more depth to the flavor than the basic 'ol banana bread. And while the crumb topping adds a little somethin' to these muffins, it doesn't penetrate through the flavor. Just kind-a is there. So unfortunately I am going against the grain and dissagreeing with A LOT of people. I so prefer the Banana sour cream bread on this site. Maybe it's just a matter of taste, but I thought these muffins were 'o so boring.

Fruit Pizza I

Fantastic and simple if you use a sugar cookie mix. I used Almond extract instead of vanilla which dressed the flavor up a bit. Will use again and again!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
I can only rate half the recipe which were the meatballs! These were the best meatballs I've made thus far! I was very leary about the lack of ingredients. The recipe did not call for onion, which I have always put into my meatballs prior...well never again. These meatballs had so much flavor AS IS!!! I buy my hamburger meat in bulk and make a TON (I multiplied this recipe by 3) of meatballs to freeze for future uses. I did have to bake them since I was not putting them into a sauce to cook. These were phenomenal! So juicy, moist tender and FULL of Flavor! I will use this as my meatball recipe from here on out!

Gooey Butter Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
I've never rated a recipe until now! This is one that will be passed down and around. My new fav dessert and I am a chocolate lover. This is soo not chocolate, but so rich and gooey! I love allrecipes for hooking me up with it. Followed the recipe exactly...wouldn't change a thing. My husband who hates my "cooking experiments" as he calls them, loved this! He even commented that we should serve it at our dinner parties from now on. Amazing! Thanks for a new favorite!
