I have loved cooking and baking since I was a teenager and my Father, a former Navy cook, helped get me started. Now I'm retired and hubby and I travel and do the snowbird routine in Central Florida. We have 4 grown children, their spouses, and 10 grandchildren. Great kids with great families! Now that we are away from them about half the year, we rely on phonecalls and email to keep in touch. During the winters we stay in a RV Resort between Daytona and Disney in our 30' Holiday Rambler travel trailer with 2 slideouts. It's very comfortable to live in but can be challenging for cooking and baking with the small propane stove/oven. * Pasta, of course! all kinds of sauces (tomato, cheese, veggies) * Quick simple meals (although I still have not learned how to cook for two) * Braided Egg Bread for Easter * Traditional Italian Christmas cookies (recipe from Hubby's Grandmother) - honey coated raisin and nut pockets that are also pinch-braided to close the pocket * Everyone's Favorite - Lasange with hard-boiled eggs for Family gatherings Being able to make Easter Bread in the small travel trailer oven (see picture above)
