I didn't actually eat it.. made it for my Nanny and her family LOVED it!! Her husband said it reminded him of his Momma's cake (she passed away quite a few years ago) So glad I found this recipe! Making it again today. They said it was better cold

Cream of Spinach Soup

This is delicious! Even my husband loved it. The first time I made it was with asparagus. I found that it was a little to thick for me. So, today I made it again with spinach and added a little more water and another boullion cube and it was so good. The flavor is delicious!!!

Flavorful Rice

Sesame Noodles

MMMMmmmm... this is delicious. I love noodles, I love seasame, I love green onions!! Perfect all around. I did half the sugar but everything else stayed the same. This could become a new obsessions for me, especially since I have everything on hand now.

very good cookie! I'm giving it 4 stars because the dough was very hard to handle. I really like Best Big Fat Chewy Chocolate chip Cookies from this site. I'm bringing these to a House Church Service tomorrow, so we will see what everyone else thinks!!! Thanks for posting!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I had an 11 inch pan and I didn't adjust the baking time or the heat of the oven so the edges came out a little dry and a little dark for my taste but the middle was so creamy and delicious!!! I will definately make it again and cook it on 300-325 until I get it perfect. Everyone else didn't think it was too dry or too brown. EVERYONE LOVED IT!!! Thanks. P.S. I was always very intimidated when it came to cooking cheesecake, but with this recipe and all the tips... its a breeze!!!!

My Favorite Sesame Noodles

Mozzarella Puffs

made these last night to go with spaghetti. The kids loved them!!! They looked great coming out the oven hot. When I got done getting ready for church I came to the kitchen to fix my lunch for today and they only had two left!!! I have three kids and they ate 8 rolls!!! I made half with pepperoni and cheese. Brushed with melted butter and added parm cheese and garlic powder. Reheat is not that great. Will be making again!!!

White Chili with Ground Turkey

This chili is so delicious, although I had to make a few changes. I used 2 cans white beans (couldn't find cannelini) and one can black. I pureed one can of white beans. I added a can of corn. Did not at cinnamon because I used it in spaghetti once and my husband hated it. Wasn't spicy at all so I will add more cayenne next time. I also have to admit that I really do not like the taste of turkey so next time I will use some ground chicken/pork that we have and I believe that it will be a thousand times better. Also used 4 cups broth but will use 3 next time.

Mississippi Tea Cakes

Delicious! I made half of the recipe with maple flavoring and that was also good! When my sister tasted the maple flavored ones she said "oh these would be good with syrup!" I had to tell her that it was because she was tasting maple! Its was subtle but there. Sooo good!!!

Chocolate Cobbler

not big on chocolate at all, but this sure is delicious!!! I'm from the South so I had to add some pecans. That is the only change I made. Everything else is the same.
