Chicken Pot Pie IX
Great recipe. The only change I made was to cook the bottom crust for a few minutes before adding the filling. I will never look for a different pot pie from now on. I will try our leftover Thanksgiving turkey with this recipe in a couple of weeks!

Chicken with Mushrooms, Prosciutto, and Cream Sauce
This is an excellent recipe! It looks difficult but is actually very easy to make. Use this one to impress a date! I rubbed little garlic salt on the chicken thighs before wrapping in the prosciutto. I used imported prosciutto, which makes a difference. I cooked the chicken in an oven safe skillet, then reduced the sauce after adding 1/2 cup of wine and a little corn starch before adding the sour cream. The sauce came out fabulous--thick, creamy, and flavorful. Served it with a veggie and brown rice, which soaked up a bit of the sauce. Fantastic!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
My first attempt at making an apple pie was a disaster. When I heated the butter/sugar mixture, it seemed to congeal into a greasy brown mass even though I heated it to to boiling. Then it got worse when I added it to the apples. It was just thick blobs. Looked like it belonged inside a lava lamp. I followed through and cooked it, which helped spread the filling out a bit, but it still was barely edible.
