About this Cook
I am willing to try new foods/recipes. I am always looking for people to share new and fun ideas with. Besides cooking and baking, I love to watch funny movies from the 80's during my free time. Questions or comments and want to talk but you just can't reach me on the Recipe Exchange? Email me: Jamesjackman46 at yahoo dot com
My favorite things to cook
I am always on the search for fun and unique baking ideas to make for me and others to try. My favorite thing to cook is any kind of dessert or bread. I am just recently got adventurous enough to start making breads again and trying new things with them. I've always just stuck with what I know works, but am getting tired of the same old routine.
My favorite family cooking traditions
As a child I always helped my parents in the kitchen from setting the breakfast table to kneading bread dough. Even as an adult I still help out from time to time even hellping my grandmother out in the kitchen as well. I don't really have very many cooking traditions other than holiday meals. Every Christmas I always try and bake tons of cookies and various deserts to give to family and friends.
My cooking triumphs
My only cooking triumph so far is "Chiken Cranikazi". Something I made up in my free time. Willing to share with others if they want. Hopefully I can add to this section over the years to come.
My cooking tragedies
Trying my hand at baking while I was in the US Navy ... I had disasters for my first year or so! :) I don't consider them tragedies but, more of A learning experiences to improve apon!
