Challah I
My 13 year old daughter and I made this for the first time ever making a bread. We both had a blast and we thought it came out great! We gave our neighbor the other loaf. All of us agreed, it's a definite keeper! I thought it was too dense but was told we over-kneeded ithe dough. We'll cut back next time and add golden raisins.

Sausage Potato Bake
It didn't last very long. First word was Yum! I added some fresh brocolli, sliced carrots and canned corn as others noted. I baked it for about 1-1/2 hrs with the last 15 minutes not covered (to lightly brown). Served it with french bread. It was easy to prepare, very good and family members really enjoyed it. It's a keeper.

New Year's Day Black-Eyed Peas
This is definately a keeper! I soaked the peas overnight and thanks to another review, I used 4 cups of water. I also added about 8 shakes (maybe 2 tbls) of Franks Red Hot to give it some pizazz. This was my wifes first taste of black eyed peas and she said "you're onto something." It's all good.
