About this Cook
My name is Martina and I'm 20 years old. I enjoy cooking mainly because I like trying different things. My favorite foods are chicken and pasta and I enjoy almost every kind of tomato sauce (spaghetti sauce, ketchup, you name it, I like it). I generally cook for my two sisters and my parents and occasionally my sister's fiancee. I'm recently started a Favorite Recipes binder and I'm hoping to add more recipes to it from this website.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up, I remember my mom and aunt getting together a few days before Christmas to make loads of cookies. We had tons of leftover cookies after Christmas and I enjoyed eating every single one of them.

Ratatouille Pasta
I had never tried eggplant or zucchini before this dish but we had bought some on sale and decided to try out the vegetables for this particular dish. The seasoning was perfect and the vegetables were tender and wonderful. I would certainly recommend it.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips
I made this yesterday. Instead of raspberries, I used blackberries. The actual fruit is really good though a bit too sweet. As for the cinnamon chips, "Stacey's" (brand name) makes some already premade so I tried those. They're a bit too hard so next time I'll try making my own.

Apple Dumplings I
I'm not the biggest fan of desserts. So when I was asked to make one, I decided on this recipe since any dessert served with ice cream is the dessert for me. After trying this, I have to say that I'm hooked. This is without a doubt the easiest, most delicious dessert I have ever made.
