High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast
Wow, I didn't think this would work! I usually don't care for pink beef, but this stuff was soooooo good! All of my Super Bowl party guests loved it. Next time I'll trim the roast a little more than I did. In case anyone is interested, I rubbed it with montreal steak seasoning, garlic and herb mrs. dash and mccormick's worchestershire pepper blend. Will definitely make again!

Mushroom, Leek, Chicken Sausage and Tortellini Soup
This was just ok. Cooking the tortellini for 30 minutes was way too much cooking time. It was no longer al dente. I did scale back the garlic (hubby can't handle a lot of it) and put in what I thought was an adequate amount of hot sauce. I used sweet italian chicken sausage. I don't know -- it just didn't work for me.
