Shrimply Delicious Shrimp Salad

I made this for my mother she said it was the best shrimp salad she has ever had. I unfortunately cannot taste this recipe due to a SEVERE shellfish allergy so I am taking her word for it. I subbed bacon in for the celery cause I was out of celery. It still gave it a great crunch and she loved the bacon accents(due to bacon used a only mild pinch of salt for seasoning).

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

This was absolutely delicious! They were right about there being no leftovers! Can't wait to make this again. Made as directed with just a bit less butter and used some olive oil to replace lost butter.

Absolutely delicious made as called for no substitutions or modifications! Three pans gone in 10 minutes! Made for Hubby's work and kept some for house neither survived!

Blackberry Puff Pastry Tarts

I made this for hubby's work and everyone enjoyed. The only thing was that since I used 1/2 regular and 1/2 neufatchel cheese it seemed slightly runny. And I had to use frozen fruit cause supermarket didn't have any fresh. The extra liquid could have come from that too.

Five Flavor Pound Cake I

Husband's work went nuts for! They were trying to guess the five flavors. I had to make some changes for dietary needs of one of hubby's coworkers and it was still a five star recipe!! Will definetely be using this as a go to recipe.

Butterfinger Chunkies

Really enjoyed cookies, probably would have been even better if husband had grabbed the right candy bars. He accidentally grabbed the big candy bars that were mostly chocolate with little pieces of Butterfingers instead of regular Butterfingers.

Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Good recipe. I used four oz of regular cream cheese and 4oz Neufatchel cheese. Husband absolutely loves cheese danishes and he wants me to make them for his work. The only thing is the cooking time needs to be increased by about 2-3 minutes.

Blueberry Meringue Pie

I made this pie for my mom and stepfather they really liked it after it had been refrigerated overnight. They had tried at room temperature but said it was better colder. Also after having read about all the "soupy" pies from other cooks I mixed flour, cornstarch, and baking cocoa together, no problems with soupiness perfect consistency. Also topped with a chocolate meringue to tie in the baking cocoa in the pie. '

Blue Cheese Potato Salad

My husband enjoyed. I can't eat blue cheese because of a severe penicillin allergy. He said that the potatoes needed just a little bit longer maybe 20 minutes instead of 15 but that could have been the fact that the potatoes were a little big.

Grilled Lime Cilantro Ahi with Honey Glaze

Millionaire Date Loaf

I followed recipe exactly but was disappointed because it just seemed like date flavored marshmallow fluff. No pie texture anywhere. Was a step or ingredient left out? If so I would like to retry recipe.

Glazed Pineapple Pie

Pie had good flavors. I opted not to glaze it but instead made a pineapple whipped cream with a touch of coconut extract. My husband really enjoyed it better after pie was refrigerated. He said that the warm pineapple was a weird texture. Otherwise pretty good.

I was extremely unhappy with the lumpiness that the pineapple in the cool whip/pudding mixture made. It just looks awful and makes it hard to spread "frosting".

Fish had a good combination of flavors,but maybe could of had a pinch more kick to it. That could have been my fault though because I didn't see the jalapeno listed until I was in the middle of making it.

I'm surprised. It actually WORKS! I made it with Absolut vanilla and butter-maple syrup. My husband was skeptical, but he actually liked it. Who'd a thunk?

Cherry-Berry Pie

I really liked this pie. I'm a huge fan of cherry pie, but I've never really been a strawberry pie fan unlike my husband he goes nuts for strawberry pie. This was a nice pie because it wasn't as overly sweet as a strawberry pie is. Nice balance of flavors.
