I give this recipe a 4-star rating only because of the slight tweaking I did. Great soup, but as MaMaw recommended, I used water and added Garlic herb soup mix, left the carrots and celery in. I also added brown minute rice. Excellent recipe for seasonal flu! Will be making again.

Lentil Soup

My family and I enjoyed this soup. It is especially great for breaking a cleansing fast with the veggies. I will make again and next time thicken by pureeing some of the lentils after they are cooked.

One Bowl Brownies

Excellent!!! This recipe is very close to my cousins brownies that I wasn't able to get a hold of the recipe. I used pecans and giradelli chocolate squares. They came out chewy and fudgy. Although I used 2 c. white sugar, you could probably get by with 1 1/2 c. sugar. I will be making again and plan to use less sugar next time.

Almond Buttercrunch Candy I

Wonderful!!! I made this for my co-workers, family and a home for people with disabilities around the Christmas holiday. Everyone loved it! Will definately be making again.

Mustard Fried Chicken

This recipe is smokin'! I was skeptical at first with adding the mustard, but found it enhanced the flavor of my chicken. Normally I use hot sauce with my seasonings to marinate for an hour or so before frying. Next time I will use both mustard and hot sauce plus seasonings.

Vegetarian Tortilla Soup

Love this recipe! The flavor is wonderful. I have made it twice within the past month. I made a few additions and adjustments. I added 1 can each of pinto and black beans. I also used 2T. cumin and 1 can diced green chiles and 1 can jalapenos. I also added juice from 1 whole squeezed lime. YUMMMMM!!!!
