About this Cook
I'm currently 27 (2008). I'm a grad student, studying Theology. I hope to one day make the world a better place through 18th century French poetry. And I'm all about diplomacy, peace, and equal rights for everyone.
My favorite things to cook
I like to make Asian foods, especially Thai curries. They're full of flavor, spice, and vegetables; and who doesn't love coconut milk?
My favorite family cooking traditions
None, really. But, when I was younger I ate chili, spaghetti and pancakes every week until I moved out on my own. Needless to say, I don't eat those anymore, really.
My cooking triumphs
Nothing triumphant, but I can sure follow a recipe.
My cooking tragedies
Just about anything I try to whip together without a recipe. Not very good at the ad hoc cooking/baking :(

German Chocolate Cake I
the cake recipe was very good and turned out very moist. but, the frosting was a little weird so i would suggest a canned/store bought type or another recipe's frosting. good luck!

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin
This is a good recipe for pork loin. It came out juicy (for a loin) and with just the right amount of balsamic flavor. I recommend this for anyone who wants an easy first-time pork loin recipe or likes balsamic vinegar.
