I make great chicken soup, but always make way too much. My family raves over my guacamole but they don't know the spices come out of a packet. At the first Thanksgiving dinner I made for my boyfriend and his brother, I could not find the bag of giblets inside the turkey. Figuring that they must have been mistakenly left out, I cooked the turkey as usual. While my boyfriend was carving the breast, the knife cut into a bright yellow plastic bag... I was mortified, but it is a big family joke now.
