I hated to cook... until I moved out of my parents house, and 1500 miles away from my family. Now, I cant stop. I love baking. It brings me joy. I just remember Christmas meals growing up. Anywhere when the whole family gathered was a big deal. I baked my first pie and for some reason I really thought it was going to be harder that it actually was. I was even more pleased when the pie was finished off. Lets just say I have had lots of "learning experiences" along the way. I wouldn't classify any of them as a tragedy.
