I was born in 1981 of June. I was married in 2001 of August. I have at the moment 2 children. I'm a busy mommy who likes to cook. My oldest likes to be my taste tester for all my cookies/cakes :)
My favorite things to cook
I like to bake cakes, cookies, and such are my favs to make! But I got a slow cooker recently and I have been enjoying that alot too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
A tradition in my family is that every December we make gingerbread trains for friends and neighbors as Christmas presents.
My cooking tragedies
I burned pancakes the first year that I was married.......the Hubby has NOT let me forget about it yet. So far thats about as bad as it gets for me.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup
I am giving this a 5 though hubby and his partner at work think it tastes more like chili :) They like this recipe better then the normal one that I usaully use. Did make a couple of adjustments to make it suit me better though: didn't use caned beans; used the dried kind, used a whole can of tomato sauce (15 oz.), and 1 1/2 cans of water, and no onions or chilis. Though I might try the chilies next time I make this. And I also added some paparika.

Honey Vanilla Ice Cream
Great ice cream. My hubby liked that it stayed on the soft side even after being in the freezer for 2 days! Smooth and creamy, a real treat :)

French Bread Rolls to Die For
This is a great recipe. I really like it! It is very flexible, I have made it into a loaf, hoggie rolls, and they all turned out great! Now I'm trying it out with wheat flour instead of the white flour. It makes great sandwich bread light and fluffy.
