Simple Maple Syrup
Love this recipe, but I gave it 4 stars because I too have done 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup white, 1 cup water, 1/2 tsp maple flavor, and added 1 tsp real vanilla extract. I bring all ingrediants to a boil and then reduce to a simmer until desired consistancy. My family likes it more thick and this helps. Love it!
