Cream Cheese Frosting II

This is not a "frosting". It is more the consistency of a danish filling. I made it to put on confetti sugar cookies and it just tasted wierd. Definately will not make this again.

Cookie Balls

Absolutely divine! I can totally see an addiction forming! Definately freeze the dough really well before making the balls and after making them before you dip them. I dropped them in a small bowl of melted white chocolate candy coating and just scooped them out with a spoon and they came out perfect.

Chewy Brownie Cookies

AMAZING!!! My kids were disappointed that I didn't double the recipe like I do sometimes when baking cookies. I did replace the shortening with butter and chilled the dough REALLY WELL and they did not spread at all. Definately will be making these often!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

I had a clue this wasn't going to be to our tastes when I took it out to turn over and I thought it smelled like dirty gym socks!!! My husband is the only one who even ate it. There is no way to describe the strange flavor and frankly I'm trying to forget it.

Strawberry Muffins

The batter was very thick and almost elastic like bread dough...I triple checked the recipe to see if I had mismeasured an ingredient but hadn't. So I added a little more milk. They came out VERY bland. The batter doesn't seem to be sweet enough.

Best Ever Cinnamon Buns

These were amazing! I just had one question.....as they baked the butter/sugar mixture in the dough melted and pooled around the rolls....this caused the bottoms of the rolls to get very brown and hard. I used two pans...one stone and one metal and the rolls on the metal pan even tasted a little like burnt sugar......HOW DO I PREVENT THIS? (I did follow the recipe and did not increase the mixture at all)

Sloppy Joes II

This is a great, easy recipe! My family does not really care for sloppy joes, but really like these. I did add 2 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce to cut the ketchup flavor down just a bit.

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

The italian seasoning mixed with the cheese had a wonderful aroma, however once the dish was assembled and eaten it seemed to be lacking something in flavor. I found it really just bland. I think bacon might add a nice contrast. If I make this again I will add bacon.

Island Sea Turtles

These are very yummy and a great spin on turtles. A couple of suggestions.....remove from heat at about 238 to 240. Certainly store in the fridge, but take out a couple of hours before serving or you will be disappointed in how hard the carmel is. Otherwise this is a very delicious candy and very easy to make.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Great recipe and very easy to make. My family does really love the balsamic vinegar, but if you're not a big fan I would substitute some chicken broth and cut back on it.

Easy Cajun Jambalaya

Very good. Whole family loved this. I altered the seasonings however and used a Cajun seasoning. Because of the kids I skimped a little and it turned out a little bland. I need to try again and follow the recipe as written on the seasonings. Everyone still loved it.
