About this Cook
I'm on the high side of 60
My favorite things to cook
Planned overs for my hubby and me. Baking yeast breads is fun. Vegtables fresh out of the garden.
My cooking tragedies
Galumpkies-meat wrapped in cabbage leaves, baked in a tomato juice. I made it for company, I had to work overtime and the cabbage came out as mush, the meat was tasteless. Needless to say those people never came back, and it has been over 20 years!!! No sense of humor!!

Fresh Peach Cobbler II
Best I've ever made! Cut the sugar to 3/4 cup used 1/4 tsp. cinnamon instead of almond ext.for the filling. Added 1/2 tsp. baking soda, and used buttermilk instead of milk. The topping was very thick had to put it on in large crumbs and smooth it over lightly. then added the sugar. It was GREAT. Next time want to double the filling.
