Yellow Squash and Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
This was pretty good. Even though I cut the sugar in half it was still slightly sweet, but eveyone loved it and the children went for seconds. I added some fresh veggies from our garden such as corn and green beans. If you want to make this a main course just add some cooked chicken.

Quick Pour Fondant Icing

I should have taken the suggetions of others on raising the temperature a little. It was very tanslucent too. I wasn't able to use this on the cake I was making, but this would probably be a nice glaze for a bundt cake.

Grilled Radishes

This was surprisingly good. I had never heard of eating cooked radish until I saw this recipe. This is an easy, delicious, recipe and practially no clean up is needed. You definitely should change the salt, butter, and garlic to your liking or else it could be a bit bland to some.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
This is a wonderfull recipe. It was simple and delicious! Everyone loved it. A tip for some of you guys: If you dont want the apples to brown add a teaspoon of lemon juice to them. You dont have to add as much sugar as the recipe asks for. Just a little bit of the sugar draws out the juices of the fruit.

Creamy Caramel Flan

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2008
Wonderful idea about adding cream cheese. My family couldn't even tell that I added it! It turned out delicious. The hardest part is evenly melting the sugar. It took me 2 tries but I did it. A helpfull tip for those having trouble with the sugar would be to put the glass baking dish a in the preheating oven before you pour the sugar into it. Just be carefull though because it may be hot if you let it sit too long. Also, don't worry if there's small lumps in the melted sugar. As long as they're pretty small they shouldn't bother anything.

Spam on the Go

This was a pretty good recipe that was simple and quick, but I felt that it was lacking a little. I think some stir fry veggies would be a great addition to this recipe.

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
This was a excelent chicken recipe. I have to admit I couldn't bake it like the recipe calls for, but instead I pan fried it. It still kept its nice and crispy outer coating and was nice and tender. So if you're little on time you can pan fry it. Also, this is a recipe with subtle seasonings, so you can add some more spices to your liking if you prefer a more flavorfull chicken, and still if it seems a little bland you can try adding a sauce like a creamy mushroom sauce or even some gravy.
