About this Cook
I am a proud wife and mommy to three wonderful children. I am quick to make a joke and love being make a joke of! I love to cook and am always eager to try new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make quiche! Some of my other favourites are cookies, cakes (I love to decorate them!), pasta sauces, new and exciting casseroles, and candy!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year my mother, father and I get together to make our traditional Christmas meat pies. They are so delicious and I can not imagine Christmas brunch with out it. We usually end up making about 25 pies to divide up amongst our family and friends. My husband and I make it a habit of barbecuing at least twice a week from the beginning of spring to the edge of winter!
My cooking triumphs
I made my son a Spongebob Squarepants birthday cake from scratch and decorated to an exact replica... it was absolutely perfect that no one wanted to eat it. I also made a five layer caramel pumpkin cake that was to die for!
My cooking tragedies
The first time I ever made my brother's favourite Blondies, I inadvertently left out one key ingredient... the white sugar. There was no way of describing the taste, aside from YUCK! ***in my defense, I was 12 years old and my mother was not home!

Rock Salt Encrusted Prime Rib
This by far has to be the best tasting prime rib roast I have ever made. It wasn't at all salty in flavour, it was however moist and flavourful! Thank you so much!

Coconut Pecan Frosting I
Wow... was this great! It looks more difficult than it actually is, so your family will think you really worked hard on your cake. The recipe makes ample enough icing to fill and frost the cake (even minus all the tasting I did!) I will recommend this one to everyone I know. Thank you!!!

Foil Potatoes
I can't believe how something as easy as cutting the potatoes in half changes the flavour of them! I made them tonight just as the recipe is online and they were well loved by my entire family. (I have to make more next time!) The best thing about this recipe is that it can be altered to individual tastes and it will inevitably taste wonderful! I am thinking of trying a little dill next time!
