Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Yummy! This was great. I added a little extra on the garlic salt, salt and pepper and then I threw in a about 1 Tbs of worchestershire sauce for a little extra kick.

Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Blue Cheese-Chive Butter

OK - I cannot say enough about this recipe. I have made it several times and everyone has loved it, including my children. Definitely restaurant quality. And the sauce...nneed to change anything in this recipe.

Loosemeat Sandwiches III

Great, simple meal. We had this for dinner tonight and really liked it. You wouldn't think it, but the mix of onions, mustard and pickles have a great balance and give this sandwich it's great taste with the lightly seasoned hamburger.

Garlic Top Sirloin Pot Roast

What can I say - this is wonderful. I made this today for the family and it was a big hit. Lots of left overs for sandwiches tomorrow too! I did not have Bay leaf and I added basil and oregano to the sauce the last half hour. There was lots of juice, so I removed over half of it two hours before it was done and used that to make a brown gravy. I just threw in two packs of Schilling brown gravy mix. We poured that over the meat. Those are the only changes that I made. Love this roast!

Christmas Eve Beef Stew

I chose this dish for the first meal I have ever prepared in a crock pot. This stew is to die for. The only changes I made were to double the spices and flour and brown the meat. The consistency was perfect for us, but I may try adding the gravy next time like others have suggested. I'll be making this for my family often.

Creole Pork Chops

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

I always thought my mother made the best fried chicken, but I have now trumped hers. I made this for my family and they loved it. My husband said it's the best fried chicken he has ever had. I seasoned my flour mixture instead of the soup and used more seasoning than suggested.
