Cookies or dessert, it is my favorite part of any meal! Eating together. My grandmother makes mac and cheese that no one can beat! We can all make it the same way, but hers always tastes the best. We joke that it must be her pot that she makes it in. Everything! I was not a talented cook in the beginning. It is just in the past year that my husband has really complimented my cooking (he never really said I was bad though either). I am willing to try anything. I made some chess pie for family once, but used a different store bought crust that I had never used. I made them and put the on the rack to cool. My husband looked at them and commented that they looked a little burnt. I took offense, but was glad he said something because I got more stuff to make more and he tried the burnt one, it was not cooked inside at all! Lucky it did not make it out of the house!
