About this Cook
I'm 33 yrs old recently my husband ,my heart, was killed in a freak job site accident he was a local 107 iron worker. I have a beautiful daughter who is 7 and a loving family. I have such a new found appreciation of all things and want to share it with others.
My favorite things to cook
I love making stews. boiled dinners and have a new found appreciation for the grill, I used to be scared of it but I have conquered my fear.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Dad is a wonderful cook and my mom is a great baker. They make a great team. I have also learned a lot from my mother in law and sister in law who are good at everything they make. My husband had such a flare for cooking. He could create a masterpiece from practically an empty fridge! Everything my sister makes is aweswome. My daughter has the family talent.
My cooking triumphs
When I was a newlywed I made sure my husband came home every night to a delicious meal and I learned how to make his favorite dishes.
My cooking tragedies
we decided to have breakfast for dinner. We had waffles omelets, sausages and fresh squeezed orange juice. I ended up burning the sausages to little Bricks! We had a good laugh, That was the last family meal we all cooked together before my husband was tragically taken from us, So I cherish it!!!
