I'm an incoming freshman at Miami University who plans to major in Chemical Engineering and minor in Spanish. I've always been known in my family to have an interest in cooking. I grew up always wanting to make my own "creations". Everyone in the household enjoyed my cookies and other dishes, but the one thing they wouldn't enjoy would be the mess that was the kitchen post-cooking. I enjoy writing novels (long and short), CBS reality tv shows, lots of anime, and cooking for my friends at school and for family. Cookies are one of my favorites, because it's something that you can bring to any event or gathering. Also, baking cookies is a way to get a small group together to have fun since it can be such an interactive process (licking the utensils of course)! Overall, I like to add my own creative twist on simple and quick recipes that aren't too complicated. Some of my other favorite things to cook are vegetables. Anything from corn, to broccoli, to carrots. I'm definitely a veggie man!
