Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
So easy! I microwaved the glaze as other's had suggested and in less than a minute I had a shiny, tasty glaze to pour over my bundt cake. The consistency is perfect. The shiny glaze makes for a beautiful presentation.

This is a great recipe. Very simple to make and comes out beautifully. I followed the directions as is, and had no problems. I used the Satiny Chocolate Glaze from this site as some one else had suggested and it makes a beautiful presentation.

Peach Crisp III

Very good recipe, I like the use of granola in the topping. You could do so many different types for a different flavor each time. I used a combo of frozen and jar peaches and it turned out great.

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
This is a very good recipe, it was perfect for my family of picky eaters. I used fat-free evaporated milk for more creamy texture with less fat. It turned out quite thick, but I was able to add more milk a little at a time until I had the consistency I prefer. Served over egg noodles, but would be delicious over biscuits for breakfast.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

This is a delicious cake! I have made it more times than I can recall, always with yummy results. I make it every year for the cake walk at my kid's school. I make it without the nuts, just because it is my preference. Also, really good for breakfast, almost like a glazed donut. YUM!

World's Best Lasagna

This is THE best! Made it for my "cooking club" and had rave reviews. I made it the day before as others suggested and then reheated in the oven before serving.

Fresh Grapefruit Juice Smoothie

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
Very good smoothie. The fresh grapefruit juice is a perfect balance with the sweet banana and strawberries. Only change I made was to use splenda in place of honey.

Margarita Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
This is a great recipe! I made a few changes after reading others reviews. I used white cake and lime juice in place of lemon. Also, I doubled the glaze and applied it in 2 batches. First, after poking holes in the cake while still warm in the pan, I spooned one full batch of the glaze and let it soak in for 15 minutes. Then removed the cake from pan and let cool completely. Next I made another full batch of glaze, but this time thicker and spooned over cool cake. After tasting the cake, I think I will skip the 2nd batch of thicker glaze, it made it too sweet. This is a very versatile recipe, almost any combination of alcohol can be used.
