The first time I attempted making speghetti sauce in a slow cooker was definitely a memorable one!! Needless to say I did not have a cookbok handy. After adding 2-3 jars of sauce, i wasn't sure how much pepper to use so I estimated. I grabbed out a measuring cup and I added 1/4 cup of PEPPER as well as a 1/4 cup of sugar. It cooked in the crockpot for several hours. Needless to say my speghetti sauce definitely cleared everyones sinuses!! My friends took a bite or two and their mouths were on fire and their noses were running! In a wierd way, I kind of liked it but I definitely wouldn't try it again. It had an extremely sweet flavor, which I liked, as well as a burning sensation which literallly had my ears ringing it was so hot!! My friends still talk about it after almost 10 yrs!!! They call it "KRYSTLE'S NUCLEAR SPEGHETTI!!"
