Yellow Squash Casserole
I love squash, but this ended up tasting mostly like milk. Liberal amounts of garlic powder and garlic sea salt on the finished product made it edible, but I won't make it again.
That said, this recipe is great for people who aren't particular to leaner foods - the milky, buttery taste is quite good to most people, especially children who may have a hard time eating their veggies.
Also, it's always a good idea to throw a pinch of salt (no more!) into any water for cooking veggies. It prevents the water from soaking up all the nutrients & flavor.
