I love to come up with recipes and try them out on my freinds. Usually they are well received and I get requests to make them again. The fun ones are the stuff that turns out really bad, because that turns into a pizza and movie night! I promise I will never post one of those recipes. I love to come up with unusual pasta salads with stuff hanging out in my fridge. And I love my slow cooker! Mom's Chicken and dumplings. Whenever I make this I can picture her in the kitchen making it! I came up with the whole menu for my wedding dinner...Roast beef with red wine and pearl onions, cranberry salad, smashed garlic potatoes, and oven roasted root vegatables. The marriage ended, but I still make the beef, potato, and salad recipes! First attempt at spaghetti in my teens and way overcooked the pasta! Like by 20 minutes!
