I am a huge fan of roasted potatoes and balsamic vinegar, but together this combination did not work well.. thought it would be an interesting twist but I was wrong.. sorry

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
This is an amazing low fat, healthy meal. There was a little bit too much breadcrumbs, so I double dipped everything twice and STILL had left overs. The only thing that I changed was that I used fat free italian dressing instead of oil. The italian dressing gave it some extra flavor and kept it really fat free. enjoy!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
whoever said this recipe wasnt good hastA revaluate their cooking skills.. this is the most amazing cookie recipe that I have EVERRRR tasted.. Some changes: I had one box of french vanilla pudding and one chocoalte box that was 3.8 oz.. created an amazing choclate chocolate chip cookie.. I also added the two tea of baking powder as suggested, two tablespoons of vanilla, and used 3 sticks of margarine and one of butter (bc that is what I had on hand)... This recipe made a TON of cookies.. I actually froze the remaining batter.. 12 minutes exactly in the oven- even tho they may look like they are not done. Let them cool for 5 mins and DIG IN... they taste amazing hot and just as good cool.. I will never make cookies again without pudding!!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
great recipe! like another reviewer said, I used smaller potatoes cut in half rubbed in olive oil and put face down on a tray cooked @ 450 for about 30 mins.. the part of potato that was face down gets a little hard but it still tastes good when you mash it out.. after the potatoes cooled I took a knife and outlined a circle to scoop out... followed the mixture exactly adding chives, bacon ranch dressing, and only a splash of milk. Made for football party and they went over well! Will definately make again

Potato-Topped Meat Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
Let me just tell you that more ppl need to try this recipe. I usually never try recipes with with only a few reviews, but this one is soooo good! It really gives a twist on the standard shepards pie. First off, sometimes when cooking chop meat it lacks flavor, but what a great idea to add breadcrumbs, eggs, and worshire sauce AFTER it is cooked. It gave such a flavor to a meal that can come off bland . I will use that tip in recipes to come. Some changes that I made were: while making the chope meat I added some chili powder and crushed red peppers. When adding the breadcrumbs I also addeded some onion and garlic power as well as about a tblspoon of ketchup. I also added a little more than a cup of breadcrumbs bc I had more than a pound of meat. Also between the veggie and potato layer I layed about 6 slices of American cheese. (Would have prob used shreeded cheddar if I had it on hand.) Oh yeah... for the veggies I used about 2 cups of frozen mixed veggied but I felt that wasnt enough. I alctually took a whole bag of steam fresh western corn and used that as well. I also used cream of chicken (bc I only had that) and I also added some chicken broth since I added more veggies(Prob used about 3/4 of a cup).. Also def need MORE potatoes I made that time costly mistake! When mixing the potatoes I just used butter and bacon ranch dressing. IT also tastes really good when you leave the potatoes chunky. Overall this is a deffff must!! Very quick and easy meal with stuf

Rainbow Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
This recipe is great, although there is an almost EXACT recipe on this site titled "Italian Wedding Cookies II". The other recipe calls for a little more butter and it is NOT necessary to separate the eggs and DEF add almond extract. I have made these cookies countless times, and a word of advice to all those having trouble with the spreading: use 3 aluminum pans (usually 3 for 99 cents at the 99 cent store)and spray with ALOT of pam. When u spread the layers you will see the pam in the corners. THAT IS FINE. The aluminum allows you to bend, punch, or even cut out the layers. All three layers become perfectly the same size. Also dont worry about any indentations from the pan or a little mush from pam.. you will be covering it with chocolate anyway. These are pretty close to the bakeries in NYC and always go over big at a party!
