Cream Corn Like No Other

I've made this twice now and each time it was perfect! It is so smooth, which surprised me since it has regular white sugar in it. Yummm!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

These were awesome! Insead of raisins, I added fresh raspberries and white chocolate chunks, as well as drizzling a powdered sugar, milk and vanilla glaze on top. Will definitely make again. Oh, and I made these at 7,700 ft. elevation while at a family reunion, and don't usually have good luck baking at that elevation and they turned out awesome! Very pleased. :)

Beef Brisket with Mushrooms and Pearl Onions

I have tried several brisket recipes and none have really been "a keeper", as my husband says. But I just made this for dinner and my husband is just raving about it! He keeps going back to the dish and sneaking bites! Two things I didn't use: pearl onions (he doesn't like onions like that) and tarragon. I wasn't familiar with tarragon, so I bought some for this dish, but after I chopped it up, I didn't like the smell and neither did my husband, so I left it out. It smells like black licorice to us. I'm on a very strict diet, so I couldn't have any, but again, my husband LOVED it.

Teena's Spicy Pesto Chicken and Pasta

This was really yummy! I did add more garlic as the pesto I bought didn't have enough for our taste. My husband even asked that I keep this recipe and make more often, which is REALLY unusual. He's typically not a pasta lover.

Holiday Brie en Croute

This was VERY good. I used a wedge of really good double cream brie instead of a wheel. It turned out good, but did leak through the pastry. I'm sure that was my fault. Oh, I also used walnuts because that's what I had on hand. I will definitely make this again.

Chocolate Chex® Caramel Crunch

I loved the taste of this, but after the first day, it got too chewey. Maybe next time I will cook it for a little longer or just do as another reviewer did and cook the caramel mixture separately so I know what temp it gets to. I may add more things next time, too, like some popcorn, pretzels and nuts, but will make again.

Sage Sausage Bread

I just made this to give as gifts and have gotten rave reviews. I made them in mini loaf pans and they were the perfect size. My husband is just going on and on about how awesome this is! I'm going back to the store to get stuff take make my third double batch! FYI . . . on the second batch, I didn't drain the sausage because I didn't think there was very much grease, but it did prevent the bread from rising as much as my first batch, so I would definitely make sure you drain the sausage.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Not a fan of this fudge. I am in Arizona, so I don't know if the dry climate has anything to do with it, but it came out dry. I cooked it for exactly 5 minutes and after adding the chocolate chips, it got very stiff, very fast and was difficult to add the nuts and had to press into the pan, not pour. I was planning on making two batches of this, but probably not going to now.
