I'm a second year medical student who enjoys family, friends, medicine, sports and cooking. I love soccer, triathlons and cycling. I used to be a synchronized swimmer. Filipino food (adobo, pancit, lumpia, torrone, karioca, sinagang, balatong, leche flan, suman...), desserts (pies, cheesecake, carrot cake, german chocolate cake, baked alaska, ice cream cake, assorted cookies, lemon bars, pudding...), healthy cooking (multigrain pancakes, lowfat pasta recipes, alternative ingredients, superfoods...), breads (banana nut bread, whole wheat pizza dough, naan, whole wheat bread...) My dad's amazing kitchen creations, including his traditional birthday cakes. My mom's filipino food. My grandma and grandpa's amazing filipino cooking. My sister's health inspired alternative cooking. My brother's take on old classics. My other grandparents cooking, especially grandma's almond toffee. Filipino Christmas is one of my favorites. Amazing baked alaska style birthday cake. See the pictures! My first attempt at doing pie...I burnt the out of my middle finger knuckle. The pie was still delicious and it did not get burned.
