About this Cook
I am a nurse here in Austin with a passion for cooking great food. I started cooking after my parents divorced when I was about 10 years old and back then always tried to "invent" new food. :D
My cooking tragedies
The first pecan pie I made was horrid. I miss read the amount of butter to use and think I tripled it...it was swimming in a pool of butter. I tried blotting and spooning out the butter but it was no use. Sadly my ex husband ate it and just smiled..lol poor sap!

Garlic Prime Rib
Wonderful! We had a 4.5 lb roast and cooked as suggested by some of the reviews. A digital thermometer is a must in cooking this to perfection. Can't wait to cook this again.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan
very moist and tender chicken. It had such a wonderful flavor. I ended up cutting the recipe in half because I only cook for 2 people. I did add garlic and onion powder to the breadcrumbs. The breadcrumbs I used were Italian seasoned. Thank you for this recipe
