About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Corn chowder, chili, herb baked chicken, date squares, brownies and ginger cookies.
My cooking tragedies
When I bought this cheap cooking book from a thrift store, I took it home and decided to make a biscuit recipe from the book. When it was done it didn't look like a biscuit at all, instead it was a flat, weird-tasting and watery thing. I was so disappointed and threw the book away. haha

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II
I love these cookies! They were very chocolatey and sweet, my only wish was if I put 1 or 2 more cherries in the middle... next time. Also, I had a lot extra chocolate icing left over and I put the cookies in 5 mins longer because they seemed too soft at 10 mins. I will be making these again, SO YUMMY!

Strawberry Muffins
These muffins were amazing! They had just the right amount of sweetness, not too sweet and just the right amount of strawberries! I had nothing but compliments for making them! I will be making these again soon.

Blueberry Crumb Bars
These blueberry crumb bars were really yummy! Instead of shortening I used butter and I also used frozen blueberries that I bought in bulk from Cosco. They tasted amazing! At first I thought they would be too sugary but it turns out that they are just right. As with any crumble, I think it tastes best when served warm.
