I learned to cook from my father who did 90% of the cooking at our house when I was young. He loved to cook and bake and I know that is who I got my love of cooking from. Just about anything if it sounds good! The night before a Thanksgiving dinner years ago I made a beautiful pumpkin cheesecake. I carried it to the refrigerator. Holding it in one hand I opened the refrigerator door. The next thing I knew it was upside down on the kitchen floor!. I must have stood there for 3 minutes staring at it wanting to cry. I ran to the store and made another one opening the fridge door BEFORE putting it inside.
